Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Professor to join a reputable higher education institution in Saudi Arabia within the Support Studies division. The role involves teaching and academic leadership across Computer Studies, Islamic Studies, and Skills-based courses, along with advancing research, curriculum development, and institutional quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Computer Studies, Islamic Studies, and Skills-based courses
- Lead curriculum development, review, and enhancement of support study programs
- Supervise student research, projects, and academic assignments
- Maintain an active research profile and publish in reputable peer-reviewed journals
- Provide academic leadership and mentor junior faculty members
- Contribute to accreditation, quality assurance, and academic program evaluation
- Participate in departmental planning, committees, and institutional initiatives
- Promote interdisciplinary learning and integration of applied skills in teaching
- Support the development of innovative teaching methods and digital learning tools
Requirements
- PhD in Computer Science, Islamic Studies, Education, or a closely related field
- Minimum 5 years of higher education teaching experience
- Strong record of academic research and publications
- Experience in curriculum development and academic leadership
- Ability to contribute across interdisciplinary support studies programs
- Strong communication and leadership skills in English (Arabic is an advantage)
- Candidates currently based in Saudi Arabia are preferred
