Job Title: Makeup Artist / Cosmetic Artist

Job Summary:
To enhance clients' appearance by applying makeup for diverse occasions (weddings, film, photoshoots, events) while ensuring comfort, safety, and satisfaction, adapting techniques to lighting, themes, and individual needs. 

Responsibilities:

• Consult with clients to understand their needs, desired looks, skin types, and event themes.
• Apply makeup professionally for weddings, photoshoots, film, TV, and special events, ensuring a polished finish.
• Stay current with beauty trends, techniques, products, and industry best practices.
• Maintain impeccable hygiene standards, sanitizing tools and workspaces regularly.
• Collaborate with photographers, directors, stylists, and other creatives to achieve cohesive looks.
• Provide expert advice on skincare routines and suitable products for clients.
• Manage appointment schedules and client bookings efficiently.
• Assist with makeup removal and provide touch-ups as needed.
• (For Film/FX) Read scripts, apply prosthetics, and adapt looks for different lighting/sets. 

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience as a Makeup Artist with a strong portfolio.
• Knowledge of color theory, different skin tones, and makeup techniques (e.g., contouring, highlighting).
• Excellent communication, customer service, and time management skills.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong understanding of sanitation and hygiene protocols.
• (Optional) Certification in Cosmetology or Makeup Artistry. 

Requirements:

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Physical stamina for long events or shoots.
• Strong professional ethics and client confidentiality.
• (Optional): Specific experience in special effects, prosthetics, or bridal makeup.
