Job Title: Salon Operations Manager

Job Summary

The Salon Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the salon to ensure smooth workflows, excellent customer service, and profitable performance. This role focuses on staff management, operational efficiency, client satisfaction, inventory control, and compliance with company standards and policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily salon operations to ensure efficiency, cleanliness, and high service standards
• Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate salon staff including stylists, therapists, and front-desk personnel
• Monitor staff performance and ensure adherence to salon policies and service protocols
• Handle client concerns, feedback, and escalations professionally to maintain high customer satisfaction
• Oversee appointment scheduling, staffing coverage, and peak-hour planning
• Manage inventory, supplies, and vendor coordination to avoid shortages or overstocking
• Track operational KPIs such as sales performance, service productivity, and client retention
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
• Coordinate promotions, packages, and seasonal campaigns with marketing or management teams
• Control operating costs while maintaining service quality
• Prepare operational reports and provide insights to senior management

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Salon Manager, Operations Manager, or similar role in the beauty or wellness industry
• Strong leadership, people-management, and organizational skills
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of salon operations, services, and retail products
• Ability to manage schedules, budgets, and inventory efficiently
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with salon management software and POS systems is an advantage
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
